This is quite confusing. Don't big supermarkets like target have private security?
- itisit 3y agoPrivate security in retail doesn't actively prevent thieves from stealing. They're contractually prohibited from physically engaging anyone due to the legal repercussions [sic] and the possibility of the guards injuring themselves or worse.
