I honestly don't think HN is capable of acting as a forum for these topics. It takes a lot of moderation and abuse prevention. The article is absolutely interesting and raises good points but this thread is already too polluted by cheap disinformation techniques (namely whataboutism) to have any meaningful discussion at this point.
