I don't think so, but I think presenting the story as "she was fired for speaking up against AI" certainly discredits it. She was "fired" because she said "do X or I'll resign", and someone said "ok, we accept your resignation". She also was in a managerial role and told her reports and others to basically stop doing the work they were doing, which will usually get you fired from any company for not following marching orders from the higher ups.
