The more I use BATS, the more I want to give the new kid on the block a try.
- oweiler 3y agoWorks fine for me. On the other hand I wonder why such a framework needs to be written in Bash itself.
- khru 3y agoWhy not? I think that having a testing framework for a "language" that forces you to have another "language" to be able to test is a pain. Example: let's imagine that to test PHP you had to have Java installed. What would happen if I got a Java exception or a similar problem? I would have to know Java. With this example the only thing I wanted to comment is that the Development experience would most likely not be the best
