Sy Hersh is a senior master investigative reporter, he trusts his source and people with a brain trust him. Its not "wild claim" there was the threat and then there was the fulfilled promise.

You failed to present any basis for your personal assertion, and instead you only doubled-down on accusatory conspiracy theories. That's not the ideal reaction to someone pointing out your conspiracy theory is unsubstantiated and unsourced. A little rational, objective thinking goes a long way.
