If I’m not mistaken, this will be the first new construction package on this project since CP 4 started just north of Shafter in 2016. I’m glad to finally see some more funding going to this project. Taking the 119 miles which are currently under construction to 124 miles (out of 171 miles in the initial operating segment). There are more grant applications in the works which will hopefully cover the remaining 47 miles.
