Most of my friends in tech are mostly on sabbaticals. On occasions they pick up some work. For the past 5 years I have been working only freelance or through my own agency. Naturally, there are often times between gigs, as is the case now. The main difference is that I now want to enter full-time employment and leaving freelancing behind.
