  It's not surprising when you consider that significant portions of the lands they claim are theirs are occupied in violation of UN treaties. This also doesn't factor in the long list of war crimes they committed. To me, harboring pedophiles doesn't seem too out of character for them. It's hard to cooperate when your existence is founded on this kind of baggage.
