VC backed startups are just an indicator of an accelerated planned obsolescence for customers that they should stay away from. Gone are the days of the VC era of 'blitzscaling' and cheap money, bootstrapping looks to be the way to go really. I hope that more companies reject the predatory nature of the VC world rushing to get an exit.
