It'll take a lot more than that to get me to buy a Pixel phone (or any other Android, really). 1. Google needs to build up the reputation that they support phones for 7 years, currently there is no device from them that was ever supported that long. 2. Pixels are not officially sold in my country, even though I am from the European Union. I need to buy from a 3rd party with at least 50% markup and dubious support. 3. Even if I were to buy a Pixel phone, 50% of the differentiating features are not available in my country (or barely any country outside of the US) - like call screening, hold for me, book me a reservation (I forgot the name of this feature).
