Frequently, someone claiming to a medical professional tries to bully everyone into accepting their answer as the only acceptable answer. Weird online social dynamics exacerbate the problem. If you aren't verifying medical credentials, anyone can claim any expertise, whether framing real credentials in the most impressive fashion they can spin doctor it without lying or outright lying. It's a broken system. Hopefully, services like this where you pay a small fee and you know it's an actual medical professional will serve to start filling in some of those gaps.
