Better hope they can navigate the process to create a per-application login/password, or even know that their normal gmail account credentials won't be accepted by gmail imap auth anymore.
- kweingar 3y agoNone of that is necessary. In Windows/Mac/iOS/Android, when you set up your mail app you can click on Gmail, follow the web auth flow, give permission to the app, and it just works.
