Its annoying that a standard upset cannot be part of SQL.
- hn_throwaway_99 3y agoBut MERGE is now the upsert that is part of the SQL standard.
- nicoburns 3y agoUnfortunately MERGE doesn't seem to have the transactional semantics that people want from an UPSERT feature (I believe in any implementation, but perhaps Oracle supports properly transactional MERGE?)
