How does Rust async compare to C++20 coroutines in your opinion?
- pjmlp 3y agoCompared to .NET, Python and JavaScript async/await implementations, they both suck in the amount of boilerplate needed to implement, and debug async runtimes. As there is nothing being shipped in the box, both suffer from "go hunting" for runtimes, and the interoperability between them. On Windows, there are bonus complexity points, as they also get to interoperate with COM appartments, and OS async APIs.
