Anyone else fat fingering a lot of submissions for flagging?
I just noticed I had something like 50-100 submissions flagged for which I have no recollection of flagging them (and they do not look flag-worthy). I assume I fat-finger-flagged them on a phone when I was attempting to scroll instead. Or is there a known bug where random articles end up being flagged?
Anyway, this sort of thing is probably not good for the site.
- lesserknowndan 3y agoYes, I’ve done at least once that I’m aware of. I’ve taken to browsing logged out now just to avoid it.
- PaulHoule 3y agoI fat finger the flag button frequently but I also notice when I do and unflag right away. If I look at my flagging history I don't see many that I regret.
- NoZebra120vClip 3y agoUnlike up/downvotes, flagging appears to (1) reload the page and (2) add it to browser history, thus affecting the "Back" button. So you may notice if you try to scroll down, and it goes up to the top instead.
