I had some seedling trees growing. Squirrels, moles and deer killed them by digging around them and through the roots or eating all the leaves.
- LinuxBender 3y agoI somewhat had that issue as well. The moles were the biggest PITA so I used a spike tool that has a little door that opens and puts bait in their holes. That worked well. The deer only show up near me in the winter but I feed all 40+ of them horse pellets, vitamins, digestive enzymes, etc... So they have no interest in plants until spring and then leave go up into the mountains. I also feed the squirrels and chipmunks so they leave plants alone. Not a cheap hobby but it seems to work out.
