I always thought that something like E-Prime would be interesting to try out at scale: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-Prime https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-Prime OTOH, the ambiguity is useful because it lets you be lazy when communicating. I suspect that some equivalent would be reinvented if we did somehow switch to E-Prime.
