If you’re interested in this, you might be interested in flux transfer events that open ‘portals’ between the Earth and the sun periodically every 8 minutes. There appear to be two types of portals that exist.

There are even these flux transfer events between Jupiter and the sun. They’re not well understood.
- canadiantim 3y agoBy ‘portals’ what do you mean? Some sort of non-local causation?
- BiteCode_dev 3y agoI think the word is not great. "conduit" would be better.
- twobitshifter 3y agoIt’s still local the particles travel along the ‘portal.’ Best I understand it, the fields are reshaping to a tube or rope that carries particles to earth instead of their normal route.
