Having two major mobile operating systems already requires app developers to think about two apps, or platforms that work on both apps, or limit themselves to the web. If we had 6 OSes and chip manufacturers wouldn't we end up with a much worse version of "developing for Linux is too hard because each distro does it their own way"?
