Tech salaries in US decline amid record-breaking inflation, market turbulence
- 1vuio0pswjnm7 3y ago"Despite economic volatility, jobseekers in the US and UK have maintained their salary expectations at $146,000 and 82,000 pounds a year." No doubt some folks think that because they were paid at rate of X during times of zero interest rates and rampant dumb money injections from VC that they are now "worth X". Right. The rest of the economy is generally doing quite well. It's the fantasy world of Silicon Valley "innovation", where "software engineers" try to overvalue themselves, even believing they are "professionals", and VC feed this silly delusion, that is taking a hit. Reality is returning. After a long vacation.
