Wow, the language on this website is really on-the-nose.
As I was reading through it, I legitimately could not tell if it was a legit business or satire (and I still don't know).
- fragmede 3y agoIt's satire, but just so on the nose.
- RheingoldRiver 3y agoI couldn't tell either so I googled the phone number. It's a parody of https://www.sfplanters.com/ https://www.sfplanters.com/ Source: https://brokeassstuart.com/2023/09/21/sf-parody-site-installs-homeless-proof-planter-boxes/ https://brokeassstuart.com/2023/09/21/sf-parody-site-install...
- matthewtse 3y agoahhh so it's a parody of an actual business, that does in fact perform this service! The photos looked a bit too real to be a full parody. I in fact lived on one of the streets in the photo, and it looked accurate.
- RetroTechie 3y agoDefinitely reads as satire. But does need some translation. Grenglish: "Whether you are a business owner or homeowner, you shouldn’t have to endure the sights of poverty near commercial spaces, vacant areas, parking lots, and freeways." English: "As a US citizen, you shouldn’t have to endure the sight of fellow US citizens left to fend for themselves."
