But this is unvetted third party code that is often malicious and could infect your computer enable identity fraud steal your data, encryption your documents and extort bitcoins to get your family photos back, not to mention the supposedly benign ad tracking code that enables mega corps to stalk you around the web and in some cases track your actually physical location and sell that data at a surprisingly low rate to anyone that asks for it.
