That doesn't fix the main problems with the iPhone: 1. Excessive tie-in of software to hardware. 2. Closed-spec hardware. 3. Closed-source software. 4. Too expensive for the vast majority of smartphone users to buy 5. Apple spies on you for the US government in various ways (Snowden revelations, should assume this is likely today as well) 6. Planned-obsolescence tricks by Apple like artificial slowdown over time (e.g. https://www.techradar.com/news/apple-might-be-slowing-down-your-old-iphone-on-purpose https://www.techradar.com/news/apple-might-be-slowing-down-y...) And I'm probably missing other things. Weren't there suicides at that Foxconn plant which manufactures iPhone parts? Maybe I'm misremembering.
