What it takes to pass a file path to a Windows API in C++
- sylware 3y agoWell, with linux syscalls, the proper way is complex too: There is a syscall low hard limit but usually a big limit (or even none) in major filesystems (for instance ext4), namely very long paths must be broken down, and relative opening must be done until the file is reached!
