I was looking for some software that I could use to make sense of my bank transactions from imported statements, and sadly found that none of the FLOSS options

I was looking for some software that I could use to make sense of my bank transactions from imported statements, and sadly found that none of the FLOSS options I tried could import the counterparty's bank account number. I have to ask, do people mostly enter transactions manually into their personal finance software? Or do they just go by names for imported transactions? This means that I can't meaningfully import transactions between my multiple accounts. Do others just fix them up manually?
