It was never a realistic target, there isnt the infrastructure in the UK to support it, and its not being built. I think that this deadline is going to be extended again in a few years time to 2040.
- ljf 3y agoPeople could still buy and run older cars - so this wouldn't have been a single event when everyone suddenly moved to electric.
- darkclouds 3y agoI suppose that applies to importing them from foreign climates as well?
- ljf 3y agoYes as far as I understand it, you can still import a car - this only applies to new vehicles.
