Swift is strange at first, but coming from multiple other languages I now recognize the good balance of features it provides. Perhaps it's possible to make a language which offers the same features with better ergnomics, but if so I wouldn't expect it to be vastly better. And thus far I haven't seen it. And from my limited explorations, SwiftUI is a lot cleaner and clearer than UIKit.
