  DEI is an income-suppressing initiative, as shown by "In fact, if your office is in a major hub like New York or Hong Kong, the distant designer may be even more appealing because of lower salary expectations.". That's not a positive.

    Feels like that's a matter of perspective, the distant designer and non-Americans may like working for this company and significantly increasing their wages.
