  This is like reading SkyMall and seeing catalog entries for bulletproof suits and (literal) executive parachutes. I couldn't get through it. None of this should be necessary. It's painfully apparent that gun control will never be implemented while the threat of swords drives sales of shields.

    I dont see how gun control could be effectively implemented in the united states. There are SO MANY guns already in circulation... what good could you possibly do towards controlling it? I know this sounds defeatist, but I actually think just having armed guards at schools is the only game-theoretically sound solution
