Don't really understand this explanation, as bluetooth is 2.4ghz only. Did they invent a new wireless protocol? or are they connecting the airpods over 5ghz wifi? The "bluetooth typically runs at" and "new audio protocol" in the linked video don't clear up any of my confusion.
