I Failed Two Captcha Tests This Week. Am I Still Human?
- bediger4000 3y agoCan you, as a web server dial up or down the difficulty of a Captcha? I've been complaining to LiveIntent about how often they're serving me particular ads, and I'd swear the Captchas have gotten more arduous as time passes. Internet advertisers have never wanted feedback about their ads, they just want you to shut up and let them use your disk and CPU and bandwidth, so this behavior comes as no surprise.
- simonblack 3y agoI heard recently that the Captcha Test looks at things like the unsteadiness of the mouse movement as an indicator of 'humanity'. Next time try jiggling the mouse as you move it around to click on the 'traffic lights' or whatever. (And apparently, it doesn't even care which photo(s) you actually click on.) I haven't done any experiments so far, myself.
