Having lived in China and now living in the UK, I really don’t see much difference between “The East” and “The West” in terms of freedom.
- throwoutway 3y agoWhataboutism. In the West, I can vocally oppose this and peacefully protest without being detained, arrested, brutalized, or killed, and without destroying my 'social credit' or being banned from leaving the country. We can still work to overturn the legislation. You can't do that in the East
