- ggm 3y agoGiven cochlear implant, the in principle risk here is where (in the brain) and what reversibility. The secondary questions are huge. Do they offer no question indemnities for life, against loss of brain function or other medical catastrophe? And how the hell have we arrived at a world where this is unpaid? That's truly wierd. Even poor slobs testing drugs in Africa are paid. Is there some "sign me up" list Musk has been running?
