I paid for ChatGPT for a few months and finally cancelled yesterday. As a code generator it’s a frustrating assistant that gets it wrong most of the time. I guess that’s good from a selfish developer point of view.
- whimsicalism 3y agoIt works quite well for my usecase as a coder - generating boilerplate UDFs for spark, etc., generating boilerplate python functions from a description of what it does, rewriting code to handle errors, asking it to review simple code.
