Show HN: Coffee grind size chart generator
- johng 3y agoThis is pretty cool. I run a coffee forum and would love to have something embeddable I can post on my site.
- DitheringIdiot 3y agoThanks, glad you like it. We decided not to make it embeddable and instead have exportable versions of the chart. But if you have a compelling use case we could always change that!
- quickthrower2 3y agoI though the Niche could "do it all".
- Kirby64 3y agoIt can, based on the charts. But pretty much everyone knows it's a terrible grinder for brewed coffee. Particle distribution is too high so coffee tends to be quite muddy.
- DitheringIdiot 3y agoWe've updated the Niche Zero chart to show the numbers that go beyond the official ones on the grinder itself
- cdaringe 3y agoIve a 270 and never gone much under 7 for espresso. Maybe ill try!
- hacknewslogin 3y agoI use an oldschool hand-crank grinder. Can someone recommend a powered one that isn't too expensive? The coffee types I typically make are: turkish, V60, and french press.
