It's possible that copper sulfate is more dangerous than the alternatives, but there's no evidence that it's carcinogenic. Your linked article claims copper sulfate "has not been associated with cancer".
- atdrummond 3y agoThanks for catching; I was doing some changing of my wording and forgot to finish it before submitting my comment. I had meant to type “far more deleterious to health, if not specifically oncogenic/carcinogenic […]” I did not mean to state copper sulfate (or any of the organic farming compounds) is cancer causing and I would f have fixed the typo if I was still within the edit window.
