I've always respected Rich Harris and the Svelte team. They do an excellent job of some pretty substantial tech. But also the way he/they explain it is so powerful. That includes the blog posts, the videos, the framework itself and the playground. This does seem like a unifying step. Seems like (at least) Svelte and Angular have both declared this model superior to their existing implementations. The video gave credit to prior art in general but would have been better to give the specific projects credit - not just ethically but also to be explicit about what is and is not similar.
