Ask HN: What are the Cool Kids running with the demise of Atom?
Used to *love* Atom as a cross-platform GUI text editor - multiple language syntax highlighting, MD support, source control integration ...
But GitHub EoL'd it a couple years ago :\
What are folks running instead now?
(And as much as I love emacs (and can survive vi(m)) ... please do not suggest either of those - they're wonderful for what they are, but *neither* are what I'm asking about here )
Requirements:
- cross-platform (all three - Linux, macOS, Windows)
- multi-language syntax highlighting
- source-control integration
Nice-to-haves:
- extensible
- markdown support (with rendering for the final product)
- themable
