Researchers make discovery about lifespan of EV batteries: ‘That was a shock’
- ggm 3y agoIf true, the value inherent in the battery has to be understood properly. This impacts recycling, post car use, car resale value, lease tail costs, the whole box and dice. It also means battery swap economics which have been criticised on a misapplication of Gresham's law are probably also misunderstood, and swap (ie battery lease not own) could work a lot better than people think.
