Well, there is a massive force that acts directly against not doing broken code - people(read managers and stakeholders) don't want to wait, they want the value for their money now, and from their perspective a certain degree of brokenness is fine
- pixl97 3y agoAs long as it works "well enough" a broken product that ships now is better than a perfect product that never ships.
- pvdoom 3y agoYes, but also this very easily turns into shipping absolute crap, that in itself can cause a good concept to flop. There is a balance to be had, and at least some decent minimum requirements on what is good enough to ship. You neither want to overdosing, nor ship the first draft that sort of kinda works, and that second thing happens way too often.
