As we keep getting reminded on IRC, it's not the language that's fast, it's its implementation. After that, how it's used; minding space/time complexity - or not - impacts speed too.

      Thanks for the hint. Even if the resulting binaries are pretty fast, it's still slower than a native C++ implementation of the same algorithms (but not much), see https://github.com/rochus-keller/Oberon/blob/master/testcases/Are-we-fast-yet/Are-we-fast-yet_results_linux.pdf https://github.com/rochus-keller/Oberon/blob/master/testcase...

The website is not very intuitive. How do I compare let's say C vs. Dart? The programs seem the same. Also the results seem to be sorted randomly.
