Good. Capitalism works best when everyone involved with a good or service has a seat at the table, not just a few extremely wealthy board members who are at the table to jerk eachother off over how great it could be if they could just cut worker's wages again and again, and how they get to spend hundreds of millions of dollars "lobbying" for the best short-term interests of the stockholders. Giving a voice to the people who represent the face of the company on a daily basis and who actually make and serve the products the company makes should be common sense.
Don't get me wrong, I love capitalism. I just don't like how a single class of extraordinarily wealth people get to promote their short-term interests as if their short-term interests should be given absolute priority.
Further, the description of Lyft & Uber's deceptive tactics > They saturated the media with ads telling Californians that a yes vote on their measure would increase drivers’ incomes, and thus misinformed, voters approved the measure. is completely fucking disgusting and should be straight up illegal. If a company doesn't like a measure or law, they should be naked in their approach, and not spending hundreds of millions on what is effectively false advertising.
