I don't get it. Even if all allegations are true.. that would mean he committed crimes over 10 years ago. Aren't ex-convicts allowed to monetize a YouTube channel that's completely unrelated to the allegations? Why does YouTube need to penalize him? Is there a YouTube policy that explains this?
- throwawayyy9237 3y agoWell, I have no idea why they make their decisions, but purely from an argument point of view, if we take the concept of prison as a "debt to society", ex-convicts paid theirs, if guilty, Brand hasn't.
- tamimio 3y agoExactly! I just questioned the same point in another comment, even if he found guilty, why he can’t make money off the platform? Especially for a public figure.
