Apparently the indian government pushed the canadian delegation on the issue of Khalistan at the G20. The Canadians were like "Look we have evidence of your guy killing this guy". The Canadian delegation then did not get invited to important G20 events. The trade meetings were halted. At the end the canadian's plane broke down for 48 hours in india stranding them in new delhi and I bet they were feeling real antsy to get the hell out. Trudeau's govt must have been pretty pissed at all of this and announced on the tube in a big cathartic moment. This would be a lesson in comical errors in diplomacy, if it were not such a tragic situation.
