I've read summaries of these studies as well, but... the adrenal cortex doesn't have any sensory-processing facilities, right? In the end it's the brain that informs the adrenal gland?
- armada651 3y agoThe truth is somewhere in between. The adrenal cortex responds to signals from the brain which responds to the hormones from the adrenal cortex. It's the interplay of mind and body that influences our perception of reality.
