I wish the article had more about next generation technologies in context of the challenges with the traditional solutions it went through. Covering Eavor would have been very interesting. https://www.eavor.com https://www.eavor.com Many of the issues with many of the power plants seem to be related to minerals in the water you get from the well. With Eavor the water should be clean as it’s a closed loop. The costs of drilling such wells are obviously high, but the power plant itself may be simpler and easier to maintain. Like, if the temperature is high enough, I guess you can do make a very simple Dry-Steam power plant without the high maintenance costs mentioned as a disadvantage.
