It was a game to see who would last the longest. Each room had someone the age of the room number (so 1 year old, to 100 year old). There were a series of votes and challenges using a hardware three button box (geerling worked on this). They also had synced lighting in each of the boxes. The problem came down to a few issues with using exposed boards, lose cables, grounding, and other issues common to most people working on these kinds of projects.
