"The American Institute for Economic Research (AIER) is a conservative and libertarian free-market think tank located in Great Barrington, Massachusetts" -Wikipedia You would be forgiven for thinking this was written by Google's pr team, or thier lawyers. It includes this gem "Microsoft is augmenting its search engine with cutting-edge generative AI, Amazon and Apple are invigorating their ad services, and cloud computing is becoming a staple product suite—all of which have clear improvements for consumer welfare. " When ads are being listed as pro-consumer, you have to question the article and the people who wrote it (members of AIER btw).
