Why shouldn't "finders keepers" apply here? If their jet crashed, unoccupied, on my land, why ain't it mine now?
At least do the "prize value" salvage reward they do for ships.
- floatrock 3y agoSadly the law of salvage is only part of maritime law https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_salvage https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_salvage Hills of south carolina are out of its juristiction.
- ganoushoreilly 3y agofortunately in the low country.. there really aren't hills just marshes and wetlands, but in all seriousness it would be a pretty cool salvage for someone
