- pstuart 3y agoI was hoping for more reasonable dialog here. Dismissing this with a weak ad-hominem is not constructive. Being that @dang effectively does the same thing she did, would you say the same to him?
- pstuart 3y agoA question for any "free speech absolutists" here: is there any speech that should not be acceptable? Legally, there are constraints on libel and CSAM, as well as speech “directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action.” Can we at least agree on the foundational elements of that? I assume resistance to this is likely fear of a slippery slope, but there should be some area of consensus.
